A SPEECH DELIVERED BY CHIEMEKA CHIEDOZIE TO THE YOUTHS OF PENIEL CHURCH OF UNIVERSE ON 14TH SEPTERMBER 2008 AT THE CHURCH PREMISES.
THEME: ‘BET YOU ARE SOMEBODY IN LIFE’
Good ladies and gentle men. I am chiemeka chiedozie, a graduate from the Nigerian institute of Journalism, Ogba Lagos, Nigeria. I want to appreciate your cooperation for granting me this apple opportunity to speak on this topic” BET YOU ARE SOMEBODY IN LIFE”
Do you know you are created for a purpose in life (Col 1:6, Gal 5: 4-5). Somebody once said that if purpose is not known abuse is inevitable... You are wonderfully made and created by God to excel beyond ordinary measures. Bet you are somebody in life. Bet you are somebody because God never take time to create a nobody.
The people who really succeeded in life are people who are optimistic and bet they are somebody in life despites their failures and circumstances. Believe you can achieve greatness in life in respective of your background, sex, religion, age, color, racism and posture. Success is not measured by these attributes but is measure by your eagerness to become somebody in life.
people do not see the rose within themselves. Some one else must know it to them. In dealing with people, you must look at a person; you don’t need to have a college degree to serve them. You done need to see President Olusegun Obasanjo Governor Babatunde Fashola or President Yara Adua to make it in life, you don’t need to know Bill Gates, the former richest man in the world or Warren Buffet, the current richest man in the world before you can make it happen in your life. You done need to know Albert Einstein theory of relativity or the law of gravity by Isaac Newton to serve.
The problem of many people today is that they think they can make in life and always asked themselves who am i? What is my future ambition? What do I really want to achieve in life? And what step can I take now to get there?. You are the only he created. Let me share my little experience with you. When I got admission to the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, my parents never had money on them to pay my school fees but I was hoping and praying that the money will come some day. I have almost lost my admission due to the fact I couldn’t pay my school fees as expected. I say to myself I am going to be somebody in life and today by God grace I am one of the most successful youth in this great country who has achieved greatness in life.
Moreover, the question is who are you? Before you can answer it, you must ask yourself these what are my strength? What do I really want to get accomplished? Who am i? Why God do created me and put me here? How much potential do I have? How can I maximize my ability for his glory? Do you enjoy working with computers, car etc, may be you are an adept people manager or you like fixing things or you are good at singing, drawing, sketching, dancing, making people laugh, preaching, reciting, and writing. Once you have identified with all these question an your pulse race go for it. Done waste time or get side trackled
Let me tell you this. God’s personally formed and made you to be somebody in life. Dou you know? There are songs that were never sung, books that were never written, ideas that were never shared, inventions that were never designed, and purpose that were never fulfilled . There is a vacuum in your life that no body can fill except you. You are born to be somebody in life. Try and be yourself and not somebody else’s. You are not your parents, or you are your uncle or aunty, or somebody very close to you. You are somebody God want you to be.
I will tell you peoples who have learned to be somebody in life in their unlimited abilities enough to succeed far better than experts say they should.
Do you know Wole Soyinka failed many times before he made it in life. Abraham Lincoln, 16 American president failed before he became a notable figure in America history. Plato was hunch back, M.K.O Abiola was dumped in the dustbin at birth because no body knows he was going to make it in life an also started as poverty. John Bunyan, a pilgrimage wrote Robinson Crusoe in prison, Sir Walter Raleigh wrote the history of the world in prison while confine in the castle of Wartburg. Thomas Edison, the inventor of electric light was sent home for complete indolence in Harvard University.
Moreso, Charles stein Metz, the electrical invertor died in 1923 was deformed at birth. Jesus was betrayed in the bible yet he made it. Joseph was sold to Egypt at 17 and was falsefully accused by his brothesr and yet he rose to become a Prime Minister in Egypt. Charles Dicken,a writer, an author was left in infancy and was asked to withdraw from school because of school fees. James Russell was suspended from Harvard university for complete indolence, yet he made effort to climb to a higher place. James watt was the butt of jokes in his class, yet he made it happed.
Franklin Roosevelt was paralyzed from the waist, yet he became America Presisdent, Beethoven that great composer was a deaf man yet, he wrote five of his greatest symphonies without hearing a note. Washington was a chemist by profession but later rose to become America president. king Jaja of Opobo, was a a slave yet, he founded Opobo town after coming back from exile in the West Indies without compromising,
Winston Churchill, one of Britain Prime Minister was a stamarer yet he became the best orator in the world after a life time of defeat at 62. Oliver Goldsmith was the bottom of his class and was described by his friends as an inspired idiot.
Gani Fawehinmi, one of the best lawyer in Nigeria had a third class in Law yet, he made it happened. Aliko Dangote, one of the richest man in Nigeria was never successful as a youth yet, he made it. Tuface Idibia, one of the best and richest artiste in Africa was not too educated yet he made it.. Ben Carson, the world most successful surgeon, was abandoned at birth by his family. Matthew Stanley,. one of the best dribbler in the world was an amateur. John Foppe, an author was born without arms and even other birth mistakes or defeat. Napoleon was 42 in his class before he became successful in life.
Finally, you are somebody in life. God never take time to create a nobody. I must say this that great men are ordinary men with great amount of determination. Bet you can have distinction, you can be a genius, you can make it happen, you can be the best and you can achieve greatness in life.
Keep saying what you want to be and not what you are, keep saying what you want to see, what you want to be is more permanent that what you are.

One Nigeria Campaign Initiatives is an Ngo set up to promote the dignity of nigeria as a country, create awareness about Nigeria online and putting a stop to all sort of dilemma and misconception people have about Nigeria and about Nigerian. we are local group dedicated to patriotism. we believe in our country. we are young and commited people with great optimistic in making Nigeria a better place to be.
WHAT WE DO
As a local group we have a lot of responsibilities as our jobs demand.most of the things we do are as follows.
1. we do online advert for people and comment they have about Nigeria
2. To assist all the tiers of government to run their major protest and campaign
3. we organize lectures in schools both secondary and tertiary institutions on the history of Nigeria, Nigeria flag, and the need for being a Nigerian and citizenship.
4. we also give talk on current affairs, independence day lectures, electoral process, Democracy Day, June 12 Election, and a review of past Nigeria head of state since 1960 til date
5. we also refer people to access our facebook to know more about Nigeria and biographies of great Nigerian.
6. we arrange interview of great Nigerian and publish them on our facebook.
WHO WE ARE
we are young activist and patriotic with great sense of responsibilities to humanitarianism.we are taking and borrowing a leaf from our predecessor who were incorruptible and fought for freedom like Nnamdi Azikiwe, Late Nelson Mandela, Late Obafemi Awolowo, Late Bola Ige, Sir Ahmed Bello, Tai Solarin, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther Jnr... and many others.
OUR AIM AND OBJECTIVES
1. To create awareness about Nigeria in the diaspora
2. to educate Nigerian about the danger of a being a slave to Human capital flight.
3. to eradicate all forms of negative thought people have about Nigerian
4. to organise lectures/symposium in other Afican countries or the world at large about the myopic misconception people have about nigerians.
5. we also organize talk on social vices on cultism, kidnapping, human trafficking, illiteracy, child abuse, Hiv and Aid, religious crisis. etc.
WHAT WE NEED
1. We need sponsors and materials to make this dream affective and to help run our local campaign activities.
2. we need an office, laptops, Nigeria flags,, camera, camcorders, photocopy machine, printers, media awareness, etc.

WHAT WE DO
As a local group we have a lot of responsibilities as our jobs demand.most of the things we do are as follows.
1. we do online advert for people and comment they have about Nigeria
2. To assist all the tiers of government to run their major protest and campaign
3. we organize lectures in schools both secondary and tertiary institutions on the history of Nigeria, Nigeria flag, and the need for being a Nigerian and citizenship.
4. we also give talk on current affairs, independence day lectures, electoral process, Democracy Day, June 12 Election, and a review of past Nigeria head of state since 1960 til date
5. we also refer people to access our facebook to know more about Nigeria and biographies of great Nigerian.
6. we arrange interview of great Nigerian and publish them on our facebook.

we are young activist and patriotic with great sense of responsibilities to humanitarianism.we are taking and borrowing a leaf from our predecessor who were incorruptible and fought for freedom like Nnamdi Azikiwe, Late Nelson Mandela, Late Obafemi Awolowo, Late Bola Ige, Sir Ahmed Bello, Tai Solarin, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther Jnr... and many others.
OUR AIM AND OBJECTIVES

MY ACHIEVEMENT RAISING KIND KIDS IN AFRICA
Chiemeka Chiedozie, the Project Director HUMANE GLOBAL CONCEPT in Nigeria and Africa is one man that is passionate about caring for animals.
Through his non-governmental organization, Chiedozie promotes animal welfare in Africa specifically for children below the ages of 19 years – His mission is impact knowledge on the children to have relevant information about animal kingdom and how to care for them.
Chiedozie who had been running this project for the past four years has taken the campaign to different primary and secondary schools; “I have been to over 200 primary and secondary schools to educate young people about animal kingdom. I showed them documentary and take them to zoos to see animal life to let the children have good relationship with animals so that they won’t develop the passion of killing the animals,” he said.
He explained further that an average Nigerian doesn’t have passion for an animal, all they know is how to kill animals and this is a project to educate them; “I said to myself that this destructive attitude must be stopped because every Nigerian is an animal killer.”
According to Chiedozie, the project is first of its kind in Africa, “Nobody has done this in Africa, I just took the challenge upon myself to start the project,” he said.
On how he gets the project funded, Chiedozie who has travelled to Ghana to address people on animal rights said he gets only material donations from United Kingdom and United State of America to run the project. “I have done animal conferences and exhibitions which had over 300 people attended. I finance it myself and also task people to donate to the project. Finance is the major challenge rocking the project,” he explained.
He wants the government at all levels to partner with the non-governmental organisation to be able to fund the project as part of the support. He has also gotten support from a non-government organization, People for Ethical Treatment of Animal (PETA), in United Kingdom.
Chiedozie who had been featured in Animal Times Magazine in United Kingdom had just been made world animal ambassador for Nigeria.
He wants Nigerians to care for animals “animals have feelings and emotions just as people have because they can’t talk people take advantage of them, if every Nigerian has feelings for animals’ people will not be killing their neighbours and families for rituals,” he advised

Global Concept is a non profit organisation run by a voluntary council
of Animal Lovers whose aims is to educate students ages 5-18 better
understanding about the animal kingdom.
The project is targetted at giving lectures/seminar to students in secondary schools on animal studies and playing a video clip for them to enhance their feeling that animals should be treated with respects and shouldnt be abuse.
The project will also brainstorm the students creating an environment for answrs and questions, project street walk, demostration, youth protest and campaign.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
1 To enhance public awareness of the abuses of animals in our society
2. To educate students and publics to a sense of moral responsibility towards animals
3. To campaign agaimst all areas of animal abuse
4. To prevent animal exploitation

GENERAL PRINCIPLE
Humane Global Concept policy is based on the ectensive scientific research which has revealed that animal have feeling and emotions and therefore feel pain and experience distress. Humane Global Concept therefore look beyond the conservation of species to the welfare of individuals.
OUR ACHIEVEMENT
Humane Global Concept has gotten a lot of popularity in Alimosho Lagos over the years. Humane Global Concept has organised two successful programmes Animal Exhibition Show , Animal Conference Show etc.. Recently the Humane Global Concept director has been to Ghana on invitaion to address the staff volunteers of the Society for the Animal Welfare Ghana and also he has been invited by the Liberia Animal Welfare Society on invitation.

Animal concerned include farm animals and laboratory animals. Humane Global Concept carries out its activities through individual personal effort and volunteer. members play crucial role to day to ensure that the objectives of the organization are turned into realities. through the activities of Humane Global Concept , most pupils in Lagos now know the existence of animal basic right and also about the animal world. Also people who by superstition belief have negative
perception about some of these animal behave and therefore are now appreciating the presence and importance of these animal in the Eco system.

My name is chiemeka chiedozie, Ex -journalist,
English teacher, animal activist. animal crusader, project director of HUMANE
GLOBAL CONCEPT, animal educator, World Animal Day Ambasador for Nigeria, Africa
youngest vegetarian and a student of one of the private university.

recognizes that in today world especially in Nigeria. it takes a sensational
story or event to grab people interest on the need to stop eating animal an go
vegetarian because of humane global concept extraordinary attention and
activities and my passion for animal right in Africa.
Many people now know that animals suffers on factory farms, in laboratories,
in the zoos, on the streets and in the circuses. Before people will consider
changing their lifestyle, they need an impetus to do so. for me and many
others, humane global concept has organized animal exhibition shows and animal
conferences in the past years. we have been to over 200 schools to organize
animal seminars on animal for children. i have been to Ghana to address and
share my humane experience with volunteers in the Society of Animal Welfare
Ghana. i was featured in Animal Times Uk.2012 issues. i have also be featured
on the Nation Newspaper and Animal Defender international in America.With the help of ANIMAL AID UK, PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMAL, VIVA, ANIMAL DEFENDER INTERNATIONAL, SHARE THE WORLD, AND INTERNATIONAL FUND FOR ANIMAL WELFARE., we have been able to pass a message to
Nigerians on the need to stop animal cruelty. Humane Global Concept has provided that initial burst of knowledge about what life is like for animal.

Peculiar People Ministry Hold sold Out Concert on Easter Monday
The sold out concert stage performance was held on Easter Monday,April, 21st, 2014 at the church auditorium.. The theme of the concert was UNDILUTED. the side attraction of the concert was to unite and bring together a good and excellent gospel artists together in a platform to exalt God in worship, praise and to celebrate the power of his resurrection
The concert featured talented and skilful artists like Michael Rock, Dare Michael, David why, Emeka Madubata, Aduragbemi, Rhythm Finger, Dare justified who threw the participants and audience into a state of unforgettable experience in God presence of serious dancing and many others.
The show which was gladly supported by Femmy Rhythm, Ancient world, Top view, Big wave entertainment and powered by Champion House was to encourage participation and to add colour to the concert.
Aside from musical entertainment from each of the artists, most of the participants at the concert had their destiny recovered after a sermon by a visiting pastor on Joseph who was sold out to Egypt and later became a Governor in a strange land.
At the tail end of the concert,Pastor Ishola, the general Overseer of the church prayed for the converts and encouraged them to be committed to the things of God. he also advised that the newly converts should always pray to God to sustain their relationship with God.
